After the yellow groups initial meeting at the IU, I decided to go home and look up ways in which to develop my own virtual museum. I found this site that shows you how to make a museum using power point. I think even if we don't do this for arts educator I may look at this more in depth to do with a select group of 5th graders. I would then be able to use it for K-5 in my classroom. This would be an interesting way of sharing with other art educators in my district, as well as other districts what I am up to in my classroom.
http://christykeeler.com/EducationalVirtualMuseums.html I also spent time researching the best ipad apps for the classroom. There are so many great apps for the ipad. I found a website that listed a bunch of apps for the iphone, many of which are available for the ipad also.
